Hi,

I generate Xtext grammar from an ecore file. But since the grammar generated is not perfect I edit it manually to fit my needs. The problem comes when the meta model is updated, if I regenerate the grammar then I have to make the changes all over again. Is there a smart way to keep the customized changes when I update the meta model?

Hi I don't know of such a smart way besides not reimporting the grammar but adapting it manually

Thanks for the reply. So this means that as the metamodel evolves then the grammar has to be modified manually to fit the metamodel, right?
