hallo Everyone,
i am using eclipse in our institute.
The proxy is blocking every eclipse Connection to the Marketplace.
Is it possible to prefetching a set of plugins from the Marketplace, sothat
i can just install this set of packages with the dropin Directory?
I have try to find the plugins individually, but that's really a lot of work.
thanks for any of your suggestions,
best regards,
JD

That doesn't sound right. Can't you ask your administrators to unblock them?

Hi Eike,
you are probably right. The Thing is, we have a very strict security policy.
We are not allowed to make ignores like *.eclipse.org in the proxy settings. We are only allow to free particular URL/URI for a limited time.
Further more if i am also looking for some Special third party connectors for mylyn or subversiv, i am always redirected to some of the other repositories outsides eclipse Domain. It is very difficult to handle.
I was told to download everything at my home and clone the package directories and add that to my dropin directory in my Institute. I hope maybe there would be another relierable Solution for me.
best regards,
Yingding
