Hi Cheen,

Thanks for those suggestions. You should send them to the related
development mailing-list, or open bugs against related components.
In some cases, the pitfalls are already known, and what is lacking is
some people who have time to improve or fix stuff. So you're alse
welcome to contribute code.

Here, you can probably create 3 enhancement requests to
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Community&component=Marketplace

You should suggest that to the EPP project, which is about packaging the
Eclipse IDE into various flavours, that are exposed on the download
section: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=EPP

That's always a difficulty in Eclipse to bring out the legacy because
Eclipse has a "don't break adopters" policy. Perspectives are also a
good example that some people hate, and some other love...
However, UI suggestions are always welcome. You're welcome to join the
platform-ui-dev mailing-list, and provide patches to improve the IDE.
