Installing Amzi plugin broke eclipse [message #1241688]

I istalled the Amzi plugin on eclipse and when i restarted Eclipse I got this popup and eclipse would not open:

"The AmziIDE executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library"

I had sent the AMZI_DIR variable and added it to the PATH variable inside the /etc/paths file using sudo so it is stored permanently. Echo'd PATH and it is there but still get the error. I also ran the Amzi Activate file and it was activated successfully.

Any idea how to get my eclipse back and get Amzi prolog working?
