Dear all,
I'm interested in a special extension of papyrus: UMLMetamodel
Did anybody try to implement anything with extension org.eclipse.papyrus.uml.extensionpoints.UMLMetamodel ?
What is your feedback ?
I would like to make a test. Please, any documentation on this extension is welcome.
Best regards;
Johan

Hi, Johan,
The org.eclipse.papyrus.uml.extensionpoints plug-in, itself, registers
a couple of metamodels provided by the Eclipse UML2 project on this
extension point:
UML.metamodel.uml
Ecore.metamodel.uml
Consequently, these models are available for the user to choose in the
metamodel-selection dialogs provided by that plug-in. However, neither
of these dialogs appears to be used currently by Papyrus (as far as I
can tell).
Cheers,
Christian

Hi, Johan,
Not of UML2, but of Papyrus. This extension point is implemented by
Papyrus. And the dialogs that use it are available (at least in the
Kepler release) for extenders to use; I don't know whether they will be
public API in the Luna release ...
