in addition, He(tadpole db hub maintainer) is about to use Orion editor which is very useful for his software. He've met the barrier which blocks the progress of his project's growing.. I'll tell the "issue" for this barrier from here.
This issue caused by the difference way of processing UTF-8.
today, i'm dealing with the similar problem[1] on the MacOSX system to fix a Korean input issue. there are two kind of encoding utf-8, one is NFC another is NFD[2].
usually, many systems are adapted the NFC method to encode UTF-8 but MacOSX has choosen NFD method. the NFC and the NFD is totally different way, so it'll be the issue for some of language area (such as Korean, Japanese, French and so on) if there are no consider speciality of the enconding method on the MacOSX
of course, this looks like insignificant and minor issue (for some of the Western european persons) but It makes too many persons to be annoy, especially for many Korean cuz they're very sensitive if their character is broken.
so please pay attention to this issue and let's discussion more about this to prevent to produce similar bug from another project.
let us (Korean) to know how to report this issue quickly and efficiently to solve,.
