Hello,

I am trying to use the Stardust API's to gather information about various participants, their associated roles and other information related to users, groups etc.

I saw that there was a document "Querying Worklists" mentioning the same but it no longer exists on the Stardust JAVA API page under 'Queries' Section [1].

Could you please help me by making this document available or else pointing to some other document that could give me a coding example to get the above mentioned info using the Stardust API's

Thanks,
Kunal

Hi Tanmoy,

Thanks for the reply!

I was looking forward to get a concrete example for using the User Query API's to solve questions such as, which users belong to which user group and who is their teamlead and how much work comes to a particular user in his worklist and whats the average time he/she takes etc.

For E.g. if we have a look at Process instance Query wiki link [1] we will find a working code.
Also, one can find some examples of Stardust API usage in the "Stardust_CompleteAPI_Example.zip" but I din't find anything much for user, usergroup, participants and worklist.

Though, one can use the Push Monitoring approach to see which activity goes to which users worklist by using the IWorklistMonitor [2](The way to use other push monitoring was also discussed in this forum in thread [3].)
I am still not able to create a decent code using different API's together to solve my above mentioned query.

I hope I was able to provide a more clear picture on my request to the Stardust Forum.

Thanks,
Kunal

Kunal,

You can refer following link for examples where you use the query api's to get data for some business cases.
