Hello,

i am looking for a solution, how to run the validation automatically when i saved a file. Below Eclipse 4.3 it was an option under Preferences - Validation, but the options has been removed.

is this maybe a JDT question? What files do you want to validate?

Hey Jonas,

i am working with the PDT and want to validate my php, html, ... files on every save.
But i dont think, that it depends on it, because it was part of Eclipse basic functions.
Below Eclipse 4.3 it was no Problem to do this (http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/wst/components/validation/images/GlobalPrefencesPage.jpg)
This is a very important funtion and absolutely fundamental for my daily work.
