Hello,
I wonder if it's available to copy and paste a container element as well
as its children element which reside in its compartment by copy command or
Ctrl+C7V?If available How to implement this?

Many thanks!

Hi Ye,

At least for diagram partitioning, this already works for me, if you
drag an existing element and hold down the Ctrl key it should clone the
element along with its children.

Hello Jevon,
Yes ,according to your ctrl+ drag,it can copy. But the properties such as
name of the copied element as well as its children can't be changed.Do you
find this drawback? How did you solve it?

Many thanks!

Yes, after some more investigation I realised I have that same problem.
You could try the copy and paste example in the documentation:

http://help.eclipse.org/help32/topic/org.eclipse.gmf.doc/tut orials/msl/clipboardTutorial.html

Can you let me know if this works?

Thanks
Jevon
