I don't think that's the problem. You see, when the problem occurs, not only
the gef edit parts get jamed. Also the icons in the palette aren't displayed
properly. So, what I'm actually saying is that I still think it's a more
high-level problem, that is, the entire workbench gets shaky for some
reason, and one consequence is that GEF goes crazy.
I would appreciate more help on this.
