is there some possible way to define a non-rectangular boundary?

I want my link (the arrow) to point at the edge of the curved corner,
not the rectangular bound.

I think you have to start digging the code from org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.gef.ui.figures.NodeFigure.getConnect ionAnchor()
method.
Looks like this is a way to locate incomming/outgoing connection on figure
bounds.
