Dear all experts,
I'm new to birt and I need some help generating chart report in PDF format.
My case is I'm using the IReportEngine to generate the report (Java code attached as TestReportEngine.java) at runtime (my use case for birt is mainly for background process to generate the report and email the report to third party). I have no issue using the same code when the report design does not consists of any charts, but when the report is a added with a chart (as attached) the PDF reader says the file is corrupt, but exception or errors thrown during generating the report.
Just for additional information, I have already tried to change the render option and output format as HTML, and the chart and report has generated successfully. Also, if using the report designer and view as PDF is able to generate the PDF and chart as well. So I'm not sure where is the missing pieces...
Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
