For applications like mine that use EMFStore, are there any plans to
resurrect the old ESBrowser. If not, are there other plans to enable a
component to manage EMFStore repository?

Hi Scott,

currently there are no plans to resurrect the ESBrowser, since we
consider EMFStore as a backend solution and try to keep UI restrictions
for endusers as low as possible. A component which is able to handle
various backends including EMFStore is ECP, which we use on a daily
basis (http://www.eclipse.org/emfclient/).
In case you don't want to use ECP we may think of moving the outdated
code of the ESBrowser into our 'other' git repository, where you can
have a look at it and implement your own solution based on it.
Give me a hint if you would like to have the ESBrowser in the 'other'
repository.
