The EMF project page says the next release of EMF will be in 2010 (see http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf).

The forum traffic seems to indicate that EMF is still under active development.

Is there a better project status description page?

Hi

That link predates the establishment of EMF as a container project.

You want EMF (Core) at
http://projects.eclipse.org/projects/modeling.emf.emf.

This has more information, but finding the plan defeats me.

Thank y'all very much. Makes me feel a bit better. The page http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/ comes up during a google search.

Do we know anyone who could link from that one to the http://projects.eclipse.org/projects/modeling.emf.emf/releases page?

It kind of makes EMF look like a decaying abandoned technology to have the 2010 thing show up. It's already caused a few conversations for me.

Steve,

It's rather a sad state, but quite honestly, I have limited time and I
spend it making the software better, and making customer software
better, leaving no time for making the website better. Some folks were
kind enough last week to offer help with the website redesign in the new
year. Not only is the EMF site bad, but the overall modeling site is
horrible too, and it reflects very badly the actual state of activity on
the software. There are a great many high active modeling projects
doing a great many very cool things...

I believe you, Ed. I'm not bashing you or anyone involved.

If you were able to find a volunteer to look at the website code, is it located in a repo somewhere?

Steve,

They got migrated to git so are lurking somewhere but I want to start
with something new from scratch, not fix up what's there...
