Hi,

I've set up Gerrit as per the instructions below (except for using http instead of ssh):

I'm trying to push a change I made to refs/for/master (see attached screenshot), but "Push to Gerrit..." come back with the error message:

https://amisingnamedcb@git.eclipse.org/r/platform/eclipse.platform.ui: Missing unknown 05b74929e14f80775e5d62950291596d88c1d968

As you can see in the screenshot's history, my change is re-based to the tip of the remote master (d795de6) and pulling from remote tells me I'm up-to-date.

What am I doing wrong?

I cloned the repository again and things work there... No idea what I did to bring the original clone I was working with into that situation. I've managed to do what I needed, but it would be nice if someone could explain what happened...

Did you push a change and then push a second patchset which only amended the commit message ?
Then this could have been caused by https://code.google.com/p/gerrit/issues/detail?id=2296.
