Hi, completely new person here to this forum and BPMN2/MDT overall.

The wiki shows news articles from 2010 - is this still an active project or is it in quasi-hibernation with some keep-alive underway?

We are trying to tie Business Capabilities and Processes to Services, and I'm exploring the best way to express BPMN metadata.

What is the status of this effort and what is the breadth of acceptance across the community?

Thanks,

Will Stewart

Hi William, welcome to the forum Smile

To answer your question, this project is very much alive and being actively developed including bug fixes and new features. The impetus for this project originally was to provide eclipse tooling for the JBoss jBPM runtime, but the editor core is very generic and not tied to any one execution engine or BPMN2 dialect.

We have several adopters already using the code base (in one form or another.) There is also interest in the academic community and extension of the editor is the topic of thesis work by several university students.

We welcome any and all comments for improving the project, so feel free to post your ideas/questions/concerns on this forum, or file enhancement requests in bugzilla.
