Dear all,

I have implemented a diagram editor for a small EMF model using Sirius. Now I'd like to provide custom property editors for some attributes of graphical elements that are integrated in my editor. These editors shall have the look and feel of the property editors provided by Sirius itself in its viewpoint model editor as it is shown in the image attached (see end of this post).

Is there some standard way in Sirius to integrate such editors in the viewpoint model?

Thanks in advance,

Jens

Hello,

Sirius does not use it for its own properties sections but you should have a look at the EEF framework (http://www.eclipse.org/eef/).
You should be able to customize your properties with it.

Regards,
Stephane.

Stephane,

thanks for your hint regarding EEF. Do you have any further suggestions on how to integrate the EEF property editors with a Sirius-based graphical editor?

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Jens

Hi,

We have an EEF bridge for Sirius that you can install from the update
site [1] (the feature name is "EEF Integration for Sirius Developer
Resources"). The documentation is available from this link[2] but not
yet from the Help Contents. Note that one of the documentation
screen-shot is obsolete and suggest a wrong contributorID which is
normally org.eclipse.sirius.diagram.

Regards,

Florian

Florian,

many thanks for your suggestion. I was able to integrate the EEF editors using the plugin and documentation you mentioned.
