I have used itext and iTextAsian as the installation said. It's ok for me
to create table or chart in jpg format with Chinese fonts. But the Chinese
words in SVG format chart are all disturded.

Is it a known bug? or something else I can do to work it out?

You might need to install a chinese version of the SVG viewer IE plugin as
the standard version doesn't always work with chinese fonts. Please give us
more details on the OS you use, the browser version, the BIRT version, and
the font you chose in the chart. Maybe picking another font can also help.

Thanks,

David
