Hi all,

I tried to build IMP on Eclipse 3.3 thanks to the patches in bug 221887.
As it is mentioned to use CVS head 20080221, I downloaded this date
version. -> Problems mainly because of no
org.eclipse.imp.lpg.metatooling/templates folder.

Therefore, I updated to the latest version from head.
I now have a problem of plugins dependencies. Several ones declare a
dependency to org.eclipse.imp.pdb (which I can't find) and
org.eclipse.imp.box declares a dependency to sdf_eclipse_installer
(which I also can't find).

Did I miss something ? Do any one have tips to build a IMP version on
3.3 (my final goal is to evaluate a possible coupling between a IMP IDE
and the MDT OCL framework)?

Thanks a lot.

Quentin

We're about to commit org.eclipse.imp.pdb. Not committing it before
was an oversight (obviously), but none of the plugins we actually
distribute as part of the IMP features depends on pdb, nor on box
or sdf_eclipse_installer. The latter two plugins are part of the
recent addition of source formatting support, which isn't yet part
of the IMP distribution. It's basically bleeding-edge code. :-)

To help get started with the IMP code base, we've put some
functionality in our "release engineering" tooling that will
retrieve the necessary source from the source repository using a
set of Team Project Sets (one per feature). I'll post here when
we've got that updated with the new SVN project locations.

Sounds cool. Keep us posted!
