I was wondering if WTP supported the ability to infer an XSD from XML
Instance Data. I did some web searchers on the subject, and it seems MS
has a version for .NET, but I am wondering if anyone has pointers to a
Java version?

cheers,
ian

Nope, WTP doesn't provide this function.
See https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=107499.
There are adopter products that extend WTP to provide this sort of
function (e.g. IBM's Rational Application Developer).
