Thanks a lot for the request.
I have a great experience with ALF and related tools (especially
everything around Mylyn, Maven and similar technologies) as well as
every living and even some more or less 'dead' SCM...

Unfortunately, Ottawa seams mostly in the French speaking part of
Canada, is that correct?

(I have been a lot to the West Coast myself and have family there...)

Cheers,
Werner

No. The Eclipse Foundation has its main office in Ottawa and they speak
English even in their office. :)

Although Ottawa shares a border with the province of Quebec (where
French is the primary language), Ottawa itself primarily English.

The Ottawa area is both English and French - quite bilingual. The Ottawa
River is the Quebec/Ontario border - so there are really two cities:
Ottawa and Gatineau. Even in Gatineau there are English speaking areas and
a general bilingual culture.

Ottawa being the capital of Canada makes it a great place to live - lots
of nice parks, historic buildings etc and not too big - greater Ottawa is
still only around 1M pop.

And of course the Eclipse Foundation is also HQ here.

thanks for the interest,...cheers,...Richard
