Hi all,

I'm coding an E4 app, and I've been struggling with adding a ProgressView and accompanying status line feature. I have coded a progress view myself, but the status line with progress region feature is giving me a hard time.

By asking around, I've learned that one could create a thin E3 advisor and put my E4 model in a fragment that will fill the legacy model that the compatibility layer will create for me. Then add to that fragment an E3View that references the progress bar.

I've also read an interesting blog post by Wim Jongman[1] that describes how to make E4 views available in an E3 app.

Has anybody already successfully implemented one of those methods?

By what I understand, they both require that the application be an E3 application and not E4 only, is that correct?

If it is, has anybody come up with a way to use the StatusLine with a ProgressRegion in an E4 app?

Thanks for your feedback,

Sébastien
