Is there an option within Mylyn 2.0 to specify the number of days that
backups are kept? I know they are compressed, but after a while the
number of files could grow to be quite large. I know I can adjust how
often they are backed up, but it would be nice to also specify how long
backups are kept.

According to
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Mylyn_User_Guide#Task_List _backup_and_restore
they are kept 30 days.

Thanks, Kim, but I think this should be user configurable. I have no
problem with a 30 day drop off, but would like to see this as being a
preference that can be set by the user.

Maybe I'll put in an enhancement request.
