Entirely a shame, should have been added to begin with. Not ALL VXML
projects require database access, etc...Some are simple IVR's with
simple prompts and only require the use of the data tag to retrieve
data, which is very easy to do.
Actually a two-way development tool would have been much better.
What I mean by that is a tool whereby you could design your app visually
and then switch to another tab that had the staight VXML, or even the
servlet code that generates the VXML, and back-and-forth.
I am working on such a tool now.
