Hi I use Indigo and EclipseLink 2.5.0 in an RCP Application. Backend is a Derby and an SQLServer DB. I have to handle with failovers against SQLServer. EclipseLink retries to connect to the server every then and when (maybe 15 secs?). It seems that my gui freezes for about 15 secs while EclipseLink tries to reconnect. Is there a possibilty to shorten the trial to some few seconds? I tried connection_pool.timeout. As of http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/eclipselink-users/msg07499.html it is said that it's a bug. I did not find any respective entries in the bug database. Is this fixed or is it not a bug or has anybody an idea how to achieve a shorter trial time?
