I was curious about why there is a difference with the functionality for
ctrl/option left and right in jsps and other web pages. It appears that
in the Java editor and other editors, ctrl left/right have the function of
going one word back or forward. In web pages though, it looks like it's
trying to be an intelligent back or forward with different functionality
depending on the direction and different functionality if shift is held
down. For example if I use shift and ctrl/back, it highlights the entire
block.
I appreciate the thought behind it but is there any way to disable the
intelligent functionality and just have it do the regular one word
back/forward even when the shift is held down? I would personally much
prefer that.
