Hi
I've installed Coffeescript-Eclipse (a plugin for eclipse).
To install it: I've updated my eclipse to Kepler 4.3.1, then I drag-n-drop (see Coffeescript-Eclipse) to install the plugin

Ok, I can see coffee file with highlighted text but everytime I start to write in a coffee file I get this error:
"XtextDocument and XtextResource have run out of sync"

I opened an issue here: hxxps://github.com/Nodeclipse/coffeescript-eclipse/issues/20

Also, sometime I get this other error:
"XtextReconcilerJob" has encountered a problem
An internal error occurred during: "XtextReconcilerJob".
start > length()

Opened issue here: hxxps://github.com/Nodeclipse/coffeescript-eclipse/issues/19

In this way the plugin is unusable. Some help?

Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers.
Version: Kepler Service Release 1
Build id: 20130919-0819

Mac OSX 1.7.5

Downgrading to Xtext to 2.4.2 does NOT Help.

Update: the error
 "XtextDocument and XtextResource have run out of sync"

was fault of mine. Reinstalling it from scratch it was gone.

But the other error:
"XtextReconcilerJob" has encountered a problem
An internal error occurred during: "XtextReconcilerJob".
start > length()

persists! And from what I read around it's a "real" error. I'm not able to understand what causes it but it make frustrating to use this awesome plugin! Sad

Hope in some help! thanks

Did you try to import the sources in your project.
regenerate it and try it?

Christian, do you mean re-build CoffeeScript plugin against latest XText 2.4.3 ?

I have tried Christian's build and still have the issue on 4.3.1 running under last Oracle JDK on Linux x86_64.

I'm experiencing the same problem: xtextreconcilerjob error start > length(). With every character I type.
It makes the coffeescript editor unusable. So here's one more vote for fixing this problem.

up

The only idea I have is make some crowd funding to lure Adam Schmideg (or any one with the will and skill for that) to bring project back to life
