I get this error and cannot figure out how to correct it. It happens,
for example, in the files created by the ConverterProj and AreaProj (the
message above) tutorials, which should be OK, one would think. It also
comes and goes. I redo the tutorial and it isn't there, but is there the
next time I open Eclipse. Some projects have it; some don't. There seems
to be nothing wrong with the web.xml in the project above. A diff shows the
only difference between that one and one that works is in the project names.
Validate indicates no problems. No error markers in the XML or text
editors.
The message is not very informative, at a minimum.
My setup:
Eclipse 3.2 with WTP installed
Apache Tomcat v5.5, recently installed and not modified.
jdk1.5.0_05
Windows 2000 and XP
Where do I go to fix this, or is it a bug?
