Hi All,

has anyone used JGit with a Distributed File System (DFS)? We think about building a cloud app on top of JGit but for that we would probably need a DFS to scale.

Any hints on that?

Thanks,
Jan

Google has a proprietary implementation on their distributed file system, see
http://www.eclipsecon.org/2013/sites/eclipsecon.org.2013/files/Scaling%20Up%20JGit%20-%20EclipseCon%202013.pdf

AFAIK there is no open source implementation of jgit's DFS APIs yet.
In principle it should be possible to implement that e.g. using Hadoop and HBase.

Thanks for your info thats really helpful! So I'm arfraid we'll have to do some coding ourselves when we it starts getting serious.
