Hello,

I work/debug a large multithreaded application 40 hours a week. This sort of thing happens all the time:

- Place breakpoint in code

- Await breakpoint to hit

- Press F5, F6, or F7 to step in/over/out

- A pause for about 1-2 seconds while the xorg gui stops responding. Even the CPU monitor that sits up in the "tray" freezes.

- xorgs continues and eclipse respects my F5/F6/F7

Anybody know what is happening? My suspicion is that it has something to do with the fact that my application uses a lot of threads/mutexes. But clearly there is something larger at play given that xorg freezes. (The mouse still moves BTW.)

Thank you,

Chris
