Hi All,
I'm currently in charge to rewrite an E3 application to E4 application with using the new concepts. The compatibility layer is forbidden in my case.

My problem is : I want open intro-part by using extension mechanism like in Eclipse 3. But it seems not work correctly.
http://help.eclipse.org/kepler/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.platform.doc.isv%2Freference%2Fapi%2Forg%2Feclipse%2Fui%2Fintro%2Fpackage-use.html

The intro-part is not visible and the class CustomizableIntroPart is never instanciate.

Two questions ?
1) Is it possible with pure E4 ?
2) If yes, do you know how to show this intro part in E4 (kepler) ? (examples or snippets are good).

Thanks you very much.

Using 'pure' e4 it's currently not possible to host 3.x legacy parts (including Intro). We're
moving forwards on making this easier in Luna...

Has there been any progress on this and if so can you please point me to the documentation?

Thanks
