I am using windows XP, have installed the latest version of Java etc and am trying really, really hard to download Eclipse/IDE for Java developers but it keeps falling over and only partially loading the zip file. I tried letting it run for a few hours with nothing else in the background but no joy.

I need this as part of a course so I would appreciate any tips asap

Are you experiencing trouble downloading anything else in the 200-300Mb
range?

Choose another mirror?

Take a thumb driver to visit a friend with a better connection?
