Before when i am using indigo it seems fine. looks stable. now even with kepler when changing views end even sometimes without doing anything it gives "event loop" exception and gets shutdown. This is there from longtime and not have been resolved.

Thanks and Regards,

In kepler it is even worse. Every time when i try to put a debug point it throws the error and gets shutdown. Now a days working with eclipse is being a tough job.

I was having the same issue and, after much thrashing about, I was able to get past the problem by disabling some programs. I'm not sure which of these two programs were causing the issue, but I disabled both and now Eclipse Kepler is running fine. The two programs are iRotate and DisplayFusion.

I've also seen a post over on Stack Overflow that claims HP Protect Tools may also cause this issue. Here is the text of the answer as I can't insert links yet:

Quote:
I have no ideia how, but right after a uninstalled the HP Protect Tools service, the exact same problem stopped in my notebook... using eclipse kepler on Win7 Pro x64.

Hopefully one of these items is the cause of your issues.

Good luck.

I am not able to find any of those that you specified in eclipse kepler. if they come with the default kepler then please help me out to find them. If you can provide some info on how to find and where they are and how to disable them. It will be a great help. Thanks in advance.

Thanks and Regards,
Muralidhar Yaragalla.
