Are there plans for the HTML editor to be WYSIWYG? [message #169671] Fri, 19 May 2006 16:02 Go to next message

I conducted a search for HTML editors for Eclipse and from what I found it
comes down to your editor and the Amateras from Source Forge. The Amateras
HTML editor has a slight advantage because of it has a preview - which
stays in sync with my editing without saving and refreshing. But what I
really want is WYSIWYG editing (with HTML code editing too).

Are there any plans for adding that capability?

Thanks,

Ian

Hi Ian,

An HTML WYSIWYG editor is not currently in the WTP plan. This type of
editor will likely require a contribution from the community.
