I have imported a project (a web application, though not recognised as such by Eclipse Juno, which recognizes it as a Java App).

The application was put together to run on JBoss 4.2.3 GA, using Apache Buildr to compile and war it up.

However, the only way I will be able to realistically work with this application (given the work I must do in the timeframe I have to do it in) is to be able to run it as a web application in Eclipse (to use the debugging tools, etc.).

What would be the best way for me to convert this thing over so that I do not use their apache build scripts to build their war file and deploy in jboss, rather, to compile and run in Jboss in eclipse as a web application.

Any ideas? Thanks. RVic

I'm interested in an answer to this too (as a "best practice"). You
might, however, find more and better help in the Eclipse web tools
platform forum.
