Can't post image links in forum posts [message #1114475]

Hi there,

I've been trying to link to external imgur.com image links, but everytime I try to do so in my post, I get a nonsense message saying:

"You can only use links to Eclipse.org sites when you have fewer than 5 messages"

Please see the attachment for the screenshot of the post I was trying to make. I can't figure out why I'm throwing an error because:

1) I'm not linking to an Eclipse site
2) I have fewer than 5 messages (whatever they are) because I literally just registered on this site today, and haven't done anything else

Any ideas on how I can successfully link to external images?

You can only reference (link, images, etc) external sites after 5 posts. Unfortunately, spam is what spam is, and this helps keep our boards clean.

Thanks for understanding. You can attach images to your posts, however, as you've done already.
