DLTK Documentation [message #15957] Wed, 29 August 2007 11:23 Go to next message

Hi,

I've written some documentation about DLTK. It's two documents:
1. DLTK Core Architecture,
http://wiki.eclipse.org/DLTK_Core_Architecture. This document describes
core DLTK principles and concepts, including model, parsers, search,
etc. It's still a draft and certainly contains some errors(English
language errors primarily), but I hope it will be useful.
2. DLTK Mini-HOWTO, http://wiki.eclipse.org/DLTK_Mini-HOWTO. There I've
written about standard end-user features, and how to implement them with
a DLTK. Maybe instructions are not very detailed, but key classes and
ext.points are pointed there. Of course, it's a draft too.

Also, I've created an org.eclipse.dltk.core.doc.isv plugin. It contains
all the documentation pointed above in a standard eclipse format. By now
it's not included into DLTK builds, but it will be done soon.

Thanks,
Mikhail Kalugin

Nice, this is quite helpful. (I was wondering for example what the mixin
model was)
