What I need is simple and common: There's a huge pile of unknown Java EE code, and we need to quickly get an overview using UML.

I need something like ObjectAid, but with better drawing and file export to other drawing programs like Visio.

Alas I don't have the time to spend a week to find the right Eclipse plugins and another week to find out how they work, just to see they don't do the job... The Eclipse documentations I found are a joke, if not insulting. Papyrus, Modisco, Ecore, Ethat, Ethis, EHypermetamodelframework, blah, blah, blah... And then, utter silence of the "Help" files.

Perhaps Papyrus has something to do with what I want. Please can someone here can tell where to start?

Hi

I doubt there is any tool that will do what you want. Legacy rescue
never comes cheap.

I suggest that you find the most expensive tools and consultants you can
find so that you can really be sure that your complaints make you feel good.
