For some reason, when I set the border width on a cell in my table, it doesn't stick. It always gets reverted back to the default width. Has anyone else encountered this? Is this a bug in BIRT or am I doing something wrong? If it's a bug, can it be circumvented in script? If so, how does one access the border properties of a cell in script?

Thanks

Can you attach a report design created with the sample database that I can run and see the issue in? Thanks!

I have a file prepared for you, Michael, but I can't seem to upload it. Every time I click on the Upload File button, my browser tells me I can't connect. Do you have an email or FTP site I can upload it to?

I sent the report. I tried creating a 1px border around the STATE cell. Even in the report file I sent you, I don't think it stuck (it reverts back to 2px). Appreciate your taking a look at it.

I don't see the same issue. Here is the design with 1px as the border. the output appears to keep this border width, for me.

I'd sure love to know what you did differently than me. What I do is I select the cell (multiple cells sometimes), go to properties > Border, click on the "square" button (to get borders on all sides) and then select 1px from the width dropdown. But it never fails: it always reverts. Is this the way you do it?

Never mind, I solved it.

Setting the border width on the properties tab (NOT the property editor tab) works.
