Eclipse 4.2 and 4.3 crashed in redHat 2.6.32-220.2.1.el6.x86_64, but run in 2.6.18-194.3.1.el5. Eclipse 3.7 works normally in both environments. Eclipse just creates core dump without any messages. How to get more details ?

What versions have you tried and how did you get them ? I suspect that it's an install / env issue since most folks haven't seen this.

I downloaded versions 4.2, 4.3 from official Eclipse site. I tried Eclipse Standard and CDT packages. All of them failed. But 3.7 works. I think too, that this is my environment issue, but don't have any log file. The only solution I see to build eclipse and have source code reference for corefile
