Hello,

I've checked out new versions V1.1.0M1 and V1.1.0M2 with my previusly created document type plugin and sadly I found both can't handle my plugin's css as V1.0.0 did.
I have check out if extension mechanisms have not changed so I've looked into org.eclipse.vex.docbook bundle to find out differences. I have not found any changes which can in my opinion makes some killer difference.

Symptoms are: It renders for e.g. tables or headings but it stops rendering other blocks after one is rendered. So I get only heading or only table and rest of document is not rendered. I also encountered another problem with tables, since I can't place cursor inside the table starting M1.

PS: I have tried Juno and Kepler both fresh RPC bundle installations. Since I have found interface for OutlineProvider changed I have removed it from extension point.

BTW why V1.1.0M2 is restricted for Kepler as minumum? Have you encountered some problems with Juno?

Thanks for your help
Best Regards Jan Kantor

Hello,

thank's for your feedback.

Since there have been some changes to the internal content handling between 1.0 and 1.1 there might be a bug in the CSS handling that we missed. I'm aware of some problems with the table rendering but it should definitely not stop rendering the rest of the document.
Would you mind posting your CSS and maybe a simple document that fails to render? That would help us to identify and fix the problem.

Regards,
Carsten

Hi Jan,

thank you for the feedback and sorry for the inconvenience regarding the regression. Would you mind filing a bug for that problem here: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Mylyn%20Docs%20Vex

Did you also look into the error log? Are there any error entries from Vex? This might give us a hint where to look for the problem.

Best Regards,

Florian

Hello,

I'm sorry for the delay. Sadly log is not created in this case. I will provide you with some general jar plugin which you can test also in your environment. Stay tuned. I don't want to mess up your bug list before we confirm it's really bug and it can be easily reproduced.

Best Regards
Jan Kantor

Ok, it seems it will be easier report it as a bug since I can't attach zip file here. It will be done in few minutes so then you can clarify it if it's relevant or not.
