sorry for newbie question
but I can't find out how to..

have a project in cvs, java project
no any .* (.project, .classpath) files in the folders.
only build.xml in subfolder \build.

I want to check this project out and set this as Java project.

a few questions there:
1. I remember that eclipse calls project wizrd for <some> checkouts from CVS. I remember it was for some my C++ projects. not sure that is for all of them. anyway - why eclipse doesn't do this for this java project? actually without .project file - this is untyped project for eclipse, right?
2. ok, project is checked out as untyped. where can I set that is a java? I'm trying to create new java project for checked out files, but eclipse tells me that project already exists.
3. in some manuals I see that I have to specify project type during the checking out, but this wizrd (CVS) doesn't contain anything for that...

thus, the question is - I 'm checking out java project and can't set this as Java in eclipse.

please advise
