BlinkLayer with GroupByDataLayer [message #1095719]

I'm trying to combine the BlinkLayer together with the GroupByDataLayer but running into issues regarding the DataProviders of the two layers. While the BlinkLayer requires an IRowDataProvider<T> the GroupByDataLayer only returns an IDataLayer even though internally it seems to be using an IRowDataProvider<Object> for the tree.

Has anybody succeeded in combining these two layers in the same table ? What's the suggested layer ordering ?
