is it possible to use multiple Eclipse configurations?
How to do it?

Simone,

It's not clear what you mean by that. It is possible to "install" as
many different Eclipse instances as you want because you don't really
install them into any registries, you just unpack them where ever you
want in the file system. It's also possible to install as many features
as you want into a single Eclipse installation...
