Hi All,
i have this bar chart:

How do I set a background color from 0 to 25 and another from 25 to 50?

I'm not sure I'm fully understanding, but you could try using a stacked bar chart.

Hi Michael,
sorry but i have explained my problem badly; if in this chart:

i set the background area within axes, i obtain this:

but what i want is to set the background based on the range, as shown in this image (obtained by graphics editing software):

If you go into the chart editor, go to the format chart tab, and then go to the y-axis section, you'll see a button at the bottom called "Markers". Here, you can set up a marker range and set the fill of the range to be a particular color. This should get you what you're wanting.
