The Project Explorer view usually shows a graphical Deployment Descriptor summary for components, e.g. servlets and filters. Especially when there is no web.xml and only @WebServlet annotation, this is a needed feature.

This works for a Dynamic Web Project version 3.0 (Java EE 6) , but not for version 3.1 (Java EE 7). Is this maybe a bug in WTP (Web Tools Platform) version 3.5?

Java EE 6 project
I create a new "Dynamic Web Project" and select 3.0 for "Dynamic web module version". Everything works as expected, the graphical Deployment Descriptor summary is shown. See JavaEE6.png.

Java EE 7 project
I create a new "Dynamic Web Project", but now select 3.1 for "Dynamic web module version". Now the Project Explorer view fails to show the Deployment Descriptor summary. See JavaEE6.png.

In the Project Explorer option "Customize View..." in the Tab "Content", it seems like "Java EE Navigator Content WEB" must be checked to display the graphical Deployment Descriptor summary in a Java EE 6 project.
