Basically our update site has become bloated and I'm looking for a way to remove the old unused plugin and feature JAR files from it.

I assume I can't just delete them from the plugins & features folders?

(Note - I'm actually not sure if it's a P2 repo or a legacy update site. It does have the artifacts and content JAR files if that helps)
