Software Engineer Opportunity in Finger Lakes Region of NY:
Education / Training / Experience:
BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent required.
2+ years of experience with Java, XML, C, Eclipse and Subversion.
Experience with software testing and quality assurance.
Ability to listen and communicate effectively with team members.
Experience working with medical device development is highly desirable.
Experience with embedded systems and GUI design is desirable but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and development of complex medical device system software.
Generating and reviewing code.
Gather input from users and stakeholders to define software architecture.
Document and test software.
Works as part of a team to generate requirements, implement features, and test results.
Review and definition of software requirements for validation and verification testing.
Work with a multidisciplinary team that includes software, electronics, biochemists, and operations working together to solve complex problems.
