Hi,

I'm new to EMF and I'm heavily impressed by the stuff that I can achieve without writing one line of java code. I've an xsd describing the XML files that our current tool manages and already tried the generated ECP on it.

Now I'd like to only use the ECP editor in a regular eclipse IDE to edit many XML files. I'm sure that this is possible. Do you know any tutorial to quickly arrive at that point?

When I start the ECP on my model then I'm not in my usual eclipse IDE anymore and any ECP "project" is actually only one XML file.

Hi,
do you have a generated model plugin, which is installed into you IDE?
That and additinally install ECP into the IDE is what you need to do to
enable ECP to be used directly in the IDE.
I assume you are using the file provider? The current version of the
file provider will show one file as a project. Therefore you need to
create a project for every file you want to edit. Can you describe, how
you would like to use it instead?
