Hello there,

I'm working with Eclipse on PHP projects on remote linux servers. Since last week I've been working with Mac OS X , before that I've used this setup (PDT + RSE) on Linux Mint. Everything works fine except German/French special characters. Under Linux (desktop and remote servers) all characters were displayed well, but under Mac OS X I see this √º instead of ü.
Is there a way to change this? I hope you can help me.

I'm not a Mac Guy though, Google suggests "mac os x java encoding".
See Java Development Guide for Mac: User Interface Toolkits for Java - 'Character Encoding' section,
also Mac OS Roman - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - 'Application notes' section.
What about Preferences->General->Workspace->Text file encoding?
Why don't you set it to UTF-8?
